Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes the circumstances under which NotifyMe will issue refunds for paid plans. We aim to be fair and transparent. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. General Principle#

All purchases of NotifyMe paid plans are processed via Stripe. As a general rule, all sales are final once a billing period has begun and the Service has been made available to you. However, we consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis and will act in good faith in accordance with applicable EU and Portuguese consumer protection law.

2. EU Statutory Right of Withdrawal#

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days of purchase, without giving any reason, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU. However, this right does not apply if:
You have explicitly consented to the commencement of the digital service delivery before the end of the withdrawal period, AND
You acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal once the service was fully performed or commenced.
If you did not provide such consent and acknowledgement at the time of purchase, you may be entitled to a full refund within 14 days of purchase, regardless of usage. Please contact us to exercise this right.

3. Eligibility for Refunds#

3.1 Monthly Plans#

Refunds for monthly plans are available in the following circumstances:
You request a refund within 48 hours of the initial purchase and have not made significant use of the premium features;
The Service was not available or was materially non-functional for more than 72 consecutive hours during your billing period due to issues on our end;
You were charged in error (e.g., a duplicate charge).

3.2 Yearly Plans#

For yearly plans, we offer a pro-rated refund in the following circumstances:
You request a refund within 7 days of the initial purchase;
The Service experienced significant, unresolved outages during your subscription period;
You were charged in error.
Pro-rated refunds for yearly plans will reflect the unused portion of the subscription period, calculated from the date of cancellation.

3.3 Lifetime Plans#

Given the nature of a one-time perpetual payment, lifetime plans are generally non-refundable after 14 days of purchase. Refunds may be considered if:
You request a refund within 14 days of the original purchase date;
You were charged in error.

4. Non-Refundable Circumstances#

We do not issue refunds in the following circumstances:
You changed your mind after the refund eligibility window has passed;
Your account was suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service;
You failed to cancel your subscription before renewal and a new billing period has already started (except as required by law);
The dissatisfaction is due to factors outside our control (e.g., changes to Discord's platform or API);
Partial use of a billing period — unless covered by the circumstances above.

5. How to Request a Refund#

To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:
Your Discord username and User ID;
The email address associated with your Stripe purchase;
The date of purchase and the plan type;
The reason for your refund request.

We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card provider.

6. Chargebacks#

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in the immediate suspension of your account and the loss of access to the Service. We will cooperate fully with payment disputes and provide all necessary information to Stripe and your financial institution.

7. Changes to This Policy#

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at notifyme.bot and will apply to purchases made after the updated effective date.
