Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy governs the purchase, renewal, and cancellation of paid plans for the NotifyMe Discord bot. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Available Plans

NotifyMe offers the following paid subscription options:

Monthly Plan — billed once every 30 days, providing access to premium features for that billing period.

Yearly Plan — billed once every 365 days, providing access to premium features for one full year at a discounted rate.

Lifetime Plan — a one-time payment granting perpetual access to premium features available at the time of purchase. Please note: Lifetime plans are being discontinued. Existing lifetime plan holders will continue to receive their benefits as described in Section 6.

2. Billing and Payments

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise NotifyMe to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You agree to keep your payment information accurate and up to date. All prices are displayed and charged in the currency specified at checkout, inclusive of any applicable taxes.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You will receive a notification or receipt from Stripe prior to renewal where required by law.

3. Free Trial

If a free trial is offered for any paid plan, the trial period will be specified at the time of sign-up. No charge will be made during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will automatically be charged for the applicable plan at the stated price.

4. Cancellation

4.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

Your billing portal — accessible via notifyme.bot or the link provided in your Stripe receipt;

Contacting us via the NotifyMe support server.

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until the end of the period for which you have already paid.

4.2 Effect of Cancellation

Upon cancellation:

Your subscription will not renew, and no further charges will be made;

You will continue to have access to premium features until the current billing period ends;

After the billing period ends, your account will revert to the Free Tier;

Your configuration data (keywords, settings) will be retained, but features exceeding the free tier limits may become inactive.

4.3 Cancellation by NotifyMe

We reserve the right to cancel or suspend your subscription at any time if you violate our Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason in our sole discretion. In such cases, a pro-rated refund may be issued at our discretion in accordance with the Refund Policy.

5. Plan Changes

You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, with any price difference applied pro-rata. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period.

6. Lifetime Plan — Discontinuation Notice

Lifetime plans are currently being discontinued. If you hold an existing Lifetime plan:

You will continue to receive the premium features that were available at the time of your purchase for as long as the Service continues to operate;

No additional charges will be made to you as a result of the discontinuation;

NotifyMe reserves the right to modify or limit certain features over time, but will make reasonable efforts to preserve the value of your original purchase;

No new Lifetime plans will be sold once the plan has been removed from sale.

7. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of Portugal and, where applicable, EU consumer protection regulations including Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. EU consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase unless digital service delivery has already begun with their consent.
