Custom Embeds let you fully personalise how notifications look in Discord, colours, titles, images, footers, and more. Once created, you can apply an embed to any channel in your server.⚠️ Custom Embeds are a premium feature. Make sure you have an active premium subscription and that the server you want to configure has premium enabled.
Step 1 — Create the Embed#
Head to your premium server's dashboard and open the "Custom Embeds" page.
Click "Create Embed" to get started.A popup will appear with all the fields you can customise, alongside a live preview so you can see exactly how your embed will look in Discord as you make changes.Customise the fields to your liking, then click "Create Embed" to save it.
Step 2 — Apply the Embed to a Channel#
Creating an embed doesn't apply it automatically, you need to assign it to the channels you want it to appear in.Go to the "Channels" page and find the channel you want to update.
Click "Edit" on that channel.In the channel settings, find the "Embed" field and select the embed you just created from the dropdown.Hit Save Changes, and that's it!
All future notifications for that channel will now use your custom embed.
Managing Your Embeds#
You can create multiple embeds and apply different ones to different channels, useful if you want YouTube notifications to look different from Twitch ones, for example.To edit or delete an existing embed, go back to the "Custom Embeds" page and find it in your list.💡 Changes to an embed apply to all channels it's currently assigned to, so you don't need to re-assign it after editing.
