Using Message Tags

Message tags are placeholders you can insert into your notification messages.
When a notification is sent, NotifyMe automatically replaces each tag with real, live data, like the channel name, video title, or a role mention.
💡 Not all tags are available in every field.
Hover over the ⓘ icon next to any field label to see which tags are supported there.

Available Tags#

TagDescription
{channel}The channel's name
{profile_pic}The channel's profile picture
{link}The video or stream URL
{playable_link}A directly playable video/stream URL
{ping_role}The role selected to be pinged
{platform_icon}The platform's logo as an emoji
{title}The video or stream title
{game}The game being played on the livestream
{viewers}The current viewer count of the livestream
⚠️ {game} and {viewers} are only available for livestream notifications. Using them in a video notification will result in an empty value.

How to Use Tags#

To use a tag, just type it directly into any supported text field, exactly as shown in the table above, curly braces included.

Field Compatibility#

Not every tag works in every field. For example, {profile_pic} can only be used as a webhook profile picture, it won't output anything useful in a plain text message. Always check which tags are available for a given field by hovering the ⓘ icon next to its label.

Watch here: {link}
Result:

Watch here: https://youtu.be/abc123

Example 3 — Livestream notification#

{channel} is live! Playing {game} with {viewers} viewers.
{link}
